Ok, so today, I rewrite my agreement with money.

Dear Money

I have always thought of you as a bit if a fickle friend, but I apologise for that. You see, when I read you were a flower, I expected you to bloom, but now I see you are a flow-er, meaning you need to flow.

I understand that, I don’t like being stored either. Or limited.

I understand that there’s a lot of emotional charge around you with most people, and most people think you do not grow on trees, when actually, if you think about it, you do.

So it’s not your fault.

I realise that people have done, and do bad things over you, and friendships are lost over you, and some shallow people are only after you, and a lot of people confuse you with security. I understand that’s an easy mistake.

But I do realise that you are not evil, I think, if used right, you are good, very good. And just because others have misused you, does not mean I hate you.

Nor do I believe that people who have a lot of you are bad. Or snobs.

But even if they were, what does that have to do with what is between us?

In fact I want to enjoy you, I want to realise that you are energy, and as such, unlimited. I want to enjoy the sensation of that energy, which you are a part of, not apart from, flow through me. I want to see you flow through every-body.

I understand that no-one believes in your existance any more since the credit crunch, but I realise that just because of a bunch of bankers that does not mean that you have been teleported away to another planet.

I want to attract you, romance you even, never condemn you- I wouldn’t go near someone that condemned me, let’s face it, so why should you.

I think we could have fun together, I think we could agree, you and me, that you are not limited, and you come, if people desire you. I want to desire you. I want others to desire you if they so desire.

I want to realise you can come from any source, not just the ones I have created.

No offence, but I also like giving you, but you always come back!

I quite like investing you as well, but my favourite feeling you give me is freedom, and abundance and confidence. I realise you do not really GIVE these things, these things emanate from me, but you really support them.

I like attracting you when I give people value.

I like knowing my own worth, and having you reflect that back to me. I know as I set a big goal where you are concerned, I can encourage others that the same might be possible for them, so your abundance can expand, rather than the lack of you. That’s important.

I realise in my Joy, you are attracted to me as well.

I realise you have always been there wanting to flow, but at times I have turned off the taps. If you were the manna, I was having the manna-pause, in fact that has been going on for a while.

But now it’s time for a new game and a new agreement.

Let’s be friends now, to coin a phrase, lets get our relationship a little more current.

Sometimes I like to be extravagant with you, sometimes frugal, but all in all you have always been there, now I can see you. I realise that you won’t be different to make me happy, you are what you are, but if I want money, paradoxically, the “change” has to come from me.

I am sorry for the misunderstanding we had. Let’s be friends now.
