Abraham Meet Up Group- My report

I googled Abraham meet up London, and good ‘ol google took me there straight away, one in Covent Garden, not 12 miles from me- very cool. So I decided to go.

Covent Garden is in London, about 5 minutes walk from Leicester Square, but could not be more different- with all the “movie premiere glitz and glamour” of Leicester Square, Covent garden is eclectic, designer, posh, quaint and spiritual all in one. Posh hotels share space with new agey healthy restaurants, tarot card type shops, and traditional pubs as well.

And, in a place called Neals Yard meeting rooms, I came across, for the first time “Abers”, all in one place.

The first time I was late. So I got to the meeting right at the end.

Two things I noticed when I walked in the room. One it smelled like a new age boudoire (incence, which I like by the way!)

Two, the energy of the place was incredible. A big sea of, well, love. So positive.

It’s all organised by a rather nice chap called Michael James of www.emergingjourneys.com

He has been rather busy as you can see if you visit the site, which I recommend you do, it is a hotbed of Law of Attraction information, and I recommend his book as well, available for a cheap download.

Anyway, I went along to 2 more meetings, and below if my synopsis of what I experienced there.

They tak a lot about the Vortex a lot, which is a very real Vibrational Reality, from where all things come.

And in the Vortex is everything we ever wanted.

All we have to do is get in there.

One thing I realised was - as someone who reckoned they could get a good idea about people pretty quickly, was I way off base there. I realised no matter how similar I THINK I am to someone, I cannot for one minute tell their desires, dreams, intentions. We are all different, and that is a good thing.

Anyway, Vibrational reality is a precursor to what is to come, and sickness is a distortion of the absolute well being that is available. If you have studies Abraham for any length of time by now, you will know the deal- Contrast causes desire to be born, the desire is held in “Vibrational Escrow”, and then we need to line up with it.

Ask, believe, recieve, I think this is the “pop” version of it.

But most of us don’t go, we look back at the reason we launched the desire in the first place- if we worry, complain, and find fault, then we walk in the opposite direction of the Vortex, and our negative emotion will be an indicator of that- every time.

MY Vortex is unique to me, as yours is to you. And only WE can get in our respective Vortices. I mean, you’re very welcome in mine, perhaps come for a cup of tea, but no need to stay.

So..being that all we want is in the Vortex, and all we need to do to get there is feel good on an ongoing basis, why don’t we go there?

1. We do not know better

2. We do not know how to break negative thought patterns.

But all of it has been arranged, tended and is waiting in the Vortex.

Making peace with where you are is a good way to approach the Vortex, because in peace there is no resistance, and in no resistance, the Vortex can be approached.

MOst of us do what I like to call (and don regularly) “Screw for Virginity”, meaning saying “Give me the manifestation and I will feel good”, but it cannot be that way.

But feel good, and the manifestation will come.

If we can work our way up the emotional scale to Hope, then we will begin to see evidence. Begin to see what is in the Vortex. Then why would we turn back ever?

If we could spend one hour a day in the Vortex, then, wow, what an improvement we would see!

This was the teaching we recieved after a few minutes meditation. Then it was time for discussion.

You could walk in the place a sceptic, and walk out a believer. The energy as I said was amazing, and the people there were genuinely HAPPY. Most of them anyway. Happy for no reason.

A most delightful man shared his account of a wonderful manifestation, a very unlikely one as well.

People saying “This stuff works”

A lady said, “I am moving into the Vortex”

I said “I will be your neighbour”

Law of attraction chat up line!!

One man shared details of all the wonderful ambitions he had, and all the wonderful things he had achieved. He was utterly happy with where he was now, and eager for more. And more came. And keeps coming. He enjoys it, desires it, but does not NEED it. Such a significant difference.

He does not need it to be happy, because he is happy already.

And happiness is our natural state of being. When we’re in the Vortex.

Occasionally we will be out the Vortex, that’s a Step One “Asking” experience. Its ok to be out the Vortex, but why would we want to be?

Another lady shared the story of her son commenting on how positive she has been recently. The whole room went “AWWWW”

Another lady, about the feelings of power and winning she had, experiences she had never had before. Another the emotional experience of ecstacy. For no reason! And yes, the good stuff keeps on coming.

Micheal- the group leader offered a very good analogy, and this applies to me as well.

WE have heard how good it is to go to the gym. We read about it, look at pictures of it, tell others about the benefits of it, even buy books for others exhorting them on the benefits of the gym! We understand totally intellectually, how good the gym is, how it all works, and its benefits.

But until we actually go, and do the exercises, we get no benefit.

Same with the Abe processes!

So shall I do the processes?

Or shall I screw for virginity a little while longer?

As an aside, when I left, I got into a black cab, as I couldn’t be bothered to walk to the station. I was that close to saying to the driver “Take me to the Vortex- and put your foot down”

I can imagine him “The Vortex mate, that’s that - some sort of nightclub” :)
