Well, we like to be original. Quite a cute concept don’t you think!

Well Abe want their message far and wide, through a variety of channels, they want many little “lighthouses” in their words.

I have been reading personal development books for years, some strictly psychological, some with a touch of spirituality. I read The Road Less Travelled (very good but rather serious don’t you think), Conversations with God I was a huge fan of- in fact to be honest, the message of organised religion never made sense to me, bits of it did, but a lot of it didn’t.

In fact I found a lot of it exclusivist, fear based, divisive, and frankly nasty.

The ONLY Christian base book that ever rang true to me was Norman Vincent Peales “The Power of Positive Thinking”, seriously, that was it!

But I loved Conversations With God, by Neale Donald Walsch, and frankly, after being indoctrinated with the negative ideas of religion, it was a sweet relief- and I bet I am not the only one to say that.

Then I found the teachings of Abraham. Loved it.

Oh, so there is a creator, and its… umm, me

Yes,you are a magnificient creator, on the leading edge. You all are.

Kind of stretches the belief system does it not!

I had a chat with Abe on my computer (through another channel on Skype- kinda surreal isn’t it), and they said they wanted me to channel them, and would do within about 3 months from this time of writing.

I will let you know what happens.

Anyway, after that conversation, I went out for a drive to clear my head, as I like to do, and I was driving down a country road, no other cars there, and I had the thought “Even after all this, I STILL do not believe this!”  and the ONE car that drove past me, immediately after that thought, had the numberplate…

Now that was too much of a coincidence even with my sceptical mind.

So I ran home and got on the computer, back on Skype and said

“Well I suppose you think that’s funny don’t you”

Yes. We are funny.

Well ha bloody ha!

I really don’t know where this is leading to, but I am excited about its unfolding. And I will keep you in the loop.

So, anyway, I came up with the idea that a radio show with them would be good- you can hear it on Womens Radio so we can spread the message far and wide of the magnificient creators that we are.

It got me wondering though, what belief systems we have that we are not even aware of that are creating the results in our lives, that we don’t even know we are creating. I have tried it, looking at myself, and trying to work out what the dodgy beliefs were that were holding me back, and the more I looked, the more confused I got, particularly when I knew the psychological premise that we get more and more of what we focus on, but if we don’t know its there, in other words if we are focussed on it without even knowing it, don’t we have to focus on it to get it to go, or will that make it worse?

See how convoluted that last sentence was, that’s the kind of confusion this has caused me.

Luckily Abe are clearer.
